Presenting some of our recent BFA graduates and their achievements:
Hannah Foster was accepted to 4 schools with various scholarships and assistantships straight from her BFA.
Ms. Foster chose Penn State University with a full tuition scholarship and a salaried teaching assistantship.
Kurtis Kujawski will attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, MFA ranked number 4 in the nation, with a scholarship to study ceramics.
Sara Sanders was accepted into several programs, but chose Cranbrook Academy of Art. Cranbrook is cur-
rently ranked #1 in America for fiber arts.
Terrell Smith was awarded the prestigious Iowa Arts Fellowship which provides a full tuition scholarship to the University of Iowa, as well as over $18,000 in stipend. Terrell is our 3rd recent student to attend the U of I MFA painting program, ranked #6 in the country.
Recent achievements by some of our art faculty:
Gyan Shrosbree, MFA Cranbrook Academy of Art, will exhibit her work in a half dozen different solo and group shows around the country this year. Ms. Shrosbree has also recently participated in several artist residencies and fellowships including MacDowell Colony and Yaddo.
Dale Divoky, BFA Alfred University, is currently exhibiting in various galleries nationally. Mr. Divoky recently
finished a large commissioned piece for a private collection in Florida.
James Shrosbree, MFA University of Montana, has exhibited in several group and solo shows this year as well
as being awarded a prestigious fellowship to the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, NH, and a residency at Two Coats of Paint, NY.
Matthew Beaufort, BA Yale Univerity, MA, MA Maharishi University, spent the summer of 2017 leading an art history tour through Spain, France and Portugal.
